174th Derby Scout Group

Welcome to the 174th Derby Scout Group homepage formally the 113th Derby Scout Group and 142nd Derby Scout Group. The two groups merged in 2001 due to lack of leaders in certain sections.

We currently have the following sections:

– Beavers 6-8 years old – Tuesdays 5:45- 6:45
– Cubs 8-10 years old – Tuesdays 5:45 – 6:45
– Scouts 10-14 years old – Tuesdays 7:00 – 8:15

We also have links with a local Explorer Unit for those over 14.

Whilst each section carry out their own activities and meet on an independent basis, we complete a number of Group events each year including:

• Annual Bonfire Party
• Quiz Nights
• Table top sale
• Fundraising
